Adhering to the recently announced Maharashtra guidelines on the closure of schools, colleges and other educational institutions because of rapidly increasing COVID-19 cases followed with a spike in Omicron variant across the country, NMIMS has decided to conduct all the classes in campuses in Maharashtra via online mode starting from 6th January to 15th February 2022.
Other campuses will follow the respective state government regulations for conduct of regular classes.
Residential campuses may permit students to be with in the campus and attend online classes.
Few programs where exams were going on and were planned offline stands postponed till further notice. University will make best efforts to hold examinations in online mode as per Government guidelines. This will be applicable to all campuses of NMIMS.
Amid the rising cases across Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Punjab, Orissa, the health and safety of our students and teachers is our top priority and we will be strictly following all the mandated state guidelines and precautionary measures.
As we step into this emerging third wave of the pandemic, NMIMS stands well prepared and future ready to sail through this impending crisis.
