Dr.-Ing. Andreas Rau, Head of Education & Research (Civil Engineering) at the German Institute of Science and Technology – TUM Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore, visited MPSTME, Mumbai on 19 February 2024. He conducted an enlightening lecture on "Transport Demand Management" tailored for our third-year B.Tech. Civil Engineering students.
Dr. Rau brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise, delving into various aspects of Transport Demand Management (TDM). His lecture focused on innovative solutions to address traffic congestion, reduce environmental impacts, and enhance overall transportation infrastructure sustainability.

Dr. Florian Holzapfel from the School of Engineering and Design at the Technical University of Munich visited MPSTME, Mumbai on February 13th, 2024, to deliver an expert talk on eVTOL. During his presentation, he emphasized the advancements in the aerospace sector, elucidating the fundamental concepts of aerodynamics and showcasing various projects conducted by his students in aerospace at the School of Engineering and Design, TUM.
Dr. Holzapfel also underscored the emergence of eVTOL technology and other notable advancements within aerospace engineering. He provided detailed insights into the postgraduate course in Aerospace Engineering, outlining its structure and elucidating the diverse opportunities within this emerging domain.
