Dr.-Ing. Andreas Rau, Head of Education & Research (Civil Engineering) at the German Institute of Science and Technology – TUM Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore, visited MPSTME, Mumbai on 19 February 2024. He conducted an enlightening lecture on "Transport Demand Management" tailored for our third-year B.Tech. Civil Engineering students.
Dr. Rau brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise, delving into various aspects of Transport Demand Management (TDM). His lecture focused on innovative solutions to address traffic congestion, reduce environmental impacts, and enhance overall transportation infrastructure sustainability.
The session provided invaluable insights into contemporary challenges and solutions within the field of Civil Engineering. Dr. Rau's expertise equipped students with a comprehensive understanding of managing transport demand in urban environments.
