Integrated M. Sc. + Ph. D. Biological Sciences

Duration - min 5 years

The M.Sc. course in the first two years extends over 4 semesters involving 3 semesters of coursework and 1 semester of project work. It also offers a choice of electives in the third semester. After M.Sc., the students will commence the Ph.D. program subject to the required qualifying/passing criteria.

  1. M.Sc. in Biological Science AND M.Sc. Ph.D. in Biological Science: Bachelor of Science in Biology (Microbiology, Biochemistry, Applied Biology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology), OR
  2. Chemistry, Physics (2 years of Biology at Graduate level), OR B. Pharm., B.E./ B.Tech (Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering) from a recognized University with minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
  • Unique program, with a provision of completing M.Sc. and Ph.D. in minimum 5 years.
  • Extensive course work in line with the requirements of industry.
