Christina Armutlieva is Director of International Cooperation and institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator at Varna University of Management in Bulgaria (VUM). She holds a MA in Hungarian Language and Literature and Finno-Ugrian Linguistics from the University of Debrecen in Hungary. For 6 years prior to starting working for VUM, Christina was a lecturer in Linguistics at the Department of Finno-Ugrian Studies at her Alma Mater, the University of Debrecen. She joined the team of VUM in 2008 and since then she has been managing and coordinating the internationalisation activities and the international academic projects at VUM. Over the last 7 years, she has been in charge of various Erasmus+ projects for Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) and International Credit Mobility at VUM thus facilitating VUM’s international cooperation with nearly 90 universities across more than 40 countries worldwide. Christina ist the project coordinator of the Erasmus+ CBHE projects BEEHIVE: Building Entrepreneurial Ecosystems to Enhance Higher Education Value-Added for Better Graduate Employability and FRIENDS: Furthering International Relations and Intercultural Engagement to Nurture Campus Diversity and to Support Internationalisation at Home.
