B. Sc. Animation and VFX

The NMIMS (Deemed to be University) offers a four-year full-time program in B.Sc. Animation and VFX. The salient feature of this program is the emphasis being laid on the overall development of students with a major focus on application and fieldwork. The course mainly focuses on multimedia & its applications, the basics of animation and postproduction of animation, digit film production and photography, Introduction to visual communication, 3D animation and modeling, gaming technology, television, film production analysis etc. Students get the opportunity to interact with experts in these fields during the course tenure. The students can gain hands-on experience in the field while doing internships in industries/research institutes/private sectors under the guidance of experts in the fields.
- The candidate must have 12th Science/Commerce/Arts or
- equivalent examination (Diploma in engineering/ITI etc.) from recognize board with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- The preference will be given to the candidates who had completed national level certification courses in drawing, acting, dancing and photography.
- Unique application oriented program, with a provision of completing bachelor degree in Animation and VFX with advanced knowledge of industrial processes, its applications in production process.
