We have evolved into a platform for experimentation in multi-scalar design, ranging from furniture to urban studies. The Centre for Built Environment Studies (CBES) is a natural continuation of that design philosophy, brought to the scale of Interior Environments.
Bachelor of Interior Design

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination (or equivalent). Admission is based on 10+2 academic marks together with a personal interview. Full criteria are in the admission handout below.
The merit list is prepared on the basis of application data — 10+2 academic marks and a personal interview conducted by NMIMS. Selection is solely on merit; the decision of NMIMS is final and binding on all concerned.
BSSA as an institution nurtures its students, not just as future architects but designers with very radical yet sensitive unique approaches to various concerns. We spend most of our day here, so it wouldn't be wrong to call it our second home. It actually feels like a second home to us due to the friendly faculty and helpful staff. The encouraging attitude of the faculty wouldn't let you stop your thinking, rather boost it every way possible for a stream load of ideas which would be necessary for our lives ahead.
College plays a very important role in shaping the future of its students. Here at BSSA, students are provided with a very work friendly environment that nurtures not only them as interior and environment designers but also brings out the capabilities to the fullest. As students, we are allowed to try and experiment different ideas with a lot of acceptance. Teaching methods are focused on deep rooted explanations of the concept with the help of videos and the sundry books in the library than just overall external outlook.
I am Disha Shah, student of Center of Environment Interior and Design, a course offered by the NMIMS University. I would like to share my experience so far in this college. The course offered for three years is extremely professional and gainful in all respects. It helps to prepare the student in a holistic manner so that they can even start to work right after or even during their degree course. The college in all is very friendly and supportive including the faculty members and staff.
