New Students

That night while I was struggling with the preparations of my first midterm examination, the Student Council called in to remind me that the final countdown for article submission had already begun. Simultaneously the Placement Committee Co-ordinator called up to throw a fit about the piling workload and to add injustice to our on-going injuries, the Economics professor out rightly rejected our plea to postpone the class presentation.

Although the virtual forces of B-school had started to play havoc and the initial tryst with life was in full swing, surprisingly I wasn’t complaining. A month old veteran at NMiMS and there was never a dull moment to crib about. The knack of effectively juggling heavy academic workload with participation in various cell activities and lustily attending numerous parties and night outs was slowly settling in. With each passing day, the chronicles of Mumbai life were undergoing a self – discovery. The glimpses of Bollywood stars sauntering past, the delight of sitting at Juhu beach at six in the morning and then attending the lectures at nine to rattle out marketing and finance jargons, life at NMiMS certainly leaves you thirsting for more.

Endeavouring to infuse the art of becoming avid thinkers, independent decision makers, multi- tasking individuals and slick professionals, MBA at NMiMS transcends existing horizons.
