The Workshop Complex has the all kind of material and components required to offer training and hands on in different basic Shop practices like Electronics basics and foundations for the IT Professionals.

Research
All the Departments presently have the twin objectives of delivering useful courses and of carrying out meaningful research. The NMIMS has carried out research works in multi-directional fields within its scope under the sponsorship of several organizations and has helped in solving quite a large number of problems for practicing engineers.

The Laboratories has Pentium-IV Computers with TFT Monitors and with Wireless NICs in LAN, Printers, Scanners, DVD burners, Digital Cameras. These Laboratories provides various network based services such as Internet, Groupware, Database, Proxy, Email, Printing, and Laptops & LCD Projectors.

Computer Centre & Services
There are DELL Power-Edge servers and the branded Workstations along with the Laptops of DELL and the stand alone Pentium-IV PCs. There is a network - Intranet/Internet (designed by CISCO) consisting of the DELL Power-Edge servers, with switches and hubs to which P-IV PCs are connected as nodes. These would be used for providing computer training and hands-on practice to the students and also for running short term courses for the same. Facilities for R&D activities are available for faculty members and research scholars. These machines have connectivity with internet and have access to e-mail. All major Licensee Softwares along with several special purpose softwares like Black Board have been acquired.

Lecture-Halls
The Lecture Halls are airy, spacious and well ventilated, in conformity with international standards. Extensive use of audio-visual media and LCD Projectors enables the students to grasp advance technology quite easily.
